Anyone who reads my blog knows I like to play it safe. I'm comfortable in my skinny jeans and sweaters, so I don't often stray from the path. However, New York Fashion Week is the one time each year I get to switch things up, so I decided to take advantage of it. It's always fun to dress for shows, because you try to capture your interpretation of the brand's aesthetic in your look. This is what I wore to Nanette Lepore: I wanted a really feminine silhouette but with playful prints and patterns to keep it fresh and young. This mismatched set from Proper & Prim in Minneapolis was the perfect pairing!
