As we draw near the end of 2016, I'm also nearing the last of the photos I have left to share from fashion month. Photos from Paris have been especially challenging to cull, as I still have so many vibrant memories associated with each one. Looking through them takes me right back to the exact time and place they were taken, which is usually laughing at something or other with Alex between winking at cute European boys and belting out tunes from Hamilton. My first time in Paris was different from what I pictured as a ten-year-old girl with twinkly dreams, but so much more than I could have ever hoped for here at twenty-five. We dined at the Finnish ambassador's mansion and ate macarons every day. We cried in the Notre Dame and walked along the Seine in twilight's fading sunshine. We became locals at our corner cafe and made friends that we still talk to months later. All these full and rosy memories make it easy to set at least one 2017 resolution—I simply must meet Paris again.
