Statement sleeves are huge right now (see what I did there), and this was one trend I hopped right on board with as soon as the train came rolling into my station. The sleeves are interesting enough that keeping the rest of the look simple—my favorite thing to do—is easy. I added a little texture with a studded suede bag and was good to go for lunchtime tacos.

I'm so excited to share with you guys my First Official Outfit Photos as a Seattle Blogger. Insert champagne toast and round of applause. I had such a fun shoot with Michele last Friday and felt immediately welcomed into the city. You know that feeling of being in the right place at the right time? That's me here in my "new" city. I've been in and around Seattle a million times, but actually living here is a whole new ball game. A ball game that just ended in a grand slam.

By far my "coolest" fashion week look, I wasn't sure if I could pull this outfit off. I think the heel height helped balance the volume of the jacket, and I just love the stripe and camo prints together. With the perfect brown lip and just enough confidence to strut through a busy crowd, it was a strong look to finish out the trip. We snapped these shots just outside of one of our final fashion shows.
