Coffee Tones
Here we are: the bottom of the metaphorical barrel that is my suitcase I packed for Seattle. I ended up rewearing several pieces the closer I got to the end of my trip (same jeans and flats as my last post), but I tried to throw in a new element by pulling together a few shades of brown for a monochromatic look. I bought this hat on a whim during one of our shopping excursions over the holidays (there really isn't much to do in my hometown) and ended up wearing it almost every day for the rest of my trip. Another surprising everyday wear? This sweater that arrived from Abercrombie the day I got home. I tend to go for giant knits that add a ton of volume to my usual skinny jeans, but I really liked the streamlined look of this soft, ribbed knit in my favorite shade of heathered beige. Between the bag, lip color, sweater, and hat, I decided the look reminded me of coffee with various amounts of cream...which, if you know me at all, I love.
