This post is dedicated to Fran Fine, one of my biggest fashion inspirations in the last year. I was a Disney kid, not a Nickelodeon kid, so I didn't get into The Nanny until this year, and oh-em-gee it is my favorite show next to Frasier and The West Wing. You guys know I tend to get pretty obsessed with the things I enjoy (most of my tweets these days are Kelsey Grammer related), so once I realized Fran Fine was my idol, she was my idol all. The. Way. Quite simply, I love how she wears anything and everything with confidence. I distinctly remember an episode where she sashays into Mr. Sheffield's office in a head-to-toe red vinyl jumpsuit, and no one even bats an eyelash. Typical Fran; wearing whatever she wants and pulling it off with aplomb. It's only fitting how many stares I got wearing this sweatshirt around Seattle. I can only hope Nanny Fine would be proud.
