Dress, vest, and bag c/o Coach  |  Booties c/o Kate Spade New York  |  Quay Australia sunglasses  |  Goldfine Jewelry bracelet

I wanted to share a few details from this weekend's TrueXGold launch event at the Goldfine Jewelry studio. After working for so many months designing and making this special collection, we held a soft launch last Friday night to share our pieces with friends and family, and it was the loveliest night. So many people went home with pieces from MY JEWELRY COLLECTION (!!! So crazy!), and it was so touching to have people there supporting us and our product. I took my new Coach dress out for a spin, edged up with a leather vest and black boots, with contrasting springy light makeup and cotton-candy nails. I wore the Bexley necklace for the event, and my friend and sister above are both sporting their namesake necklaces: the Twin and the Mae.

We're also pleased to be offering FREE SHIPPING right now with the code TRUELANE, make sure you shop our limited-edition pieces before they're gone!

Thank you to our event sponsors:

GoGlow, Wool & Whiskey, A La Mode Nail Spa, Bogarts Doughnuts, Niki Robison, Cotton & Whim, Flirt Boutique, dpHUE, Haute BarreThumbs Cookies, and Misfit Coffee.

Behind the Scenes

So excited to show off the newest addition to the Minneapolis fashion world...downtown boutique Behind the Scenes! I stopped by last weekend and snapped some photos of what caught my eye at the grand opening.

Green. I fell in love with the different shades of emerald and teal arranged underneath this lovely display trunk. So many pretty colors!

Crossbody bags are one of my favorite accessories. I almost feel like they're half-necklace and half-handbag. Love the light and bright spring colors available!

Pleats are my best friend right now. This color-blocked, breezy tank dress is definitely on my wish list for summer.

I was so inspired by this front table layout; the feather skirt is an excellent statement piece, especially styled with a great silky white blouse.

Make-up artist Allison Jean was on-hand with everyone's favorite products. I was mesmerized by the make-up table...any fashion + beauty obsessed girl would agree, the colors were sssooo preeetttyyyy.

Can't wait to spend some time (and $$$) in this awesome store. The owners are super sweet too! Be sure to check them out on Twitter and add this to your list of places to visit if you're ever in town!

Also...just for the sake of not posting these yet...two events from fashion week. Love these girls!

Avoid the Grey

Over the weekend, I got to attend a fashion event in Minneapolis hosted by the adorable Cliche Boutique with my good friend Brittany of B. In the Know! Instead of your typical runway show, you can see in one of the photos that there were boxes set up in the venue that the models were placed in to pose. They were kind of like giant dioramas, which was a little third-grade art project throwback. So unique!

Each box was viewable through little peep holes, which made snapping photos a bit of a challenge, but I love the way they turned out. So inspired by those four fishtail braids with the floral headpiece!

There were so many unique looks that I felt more like I was at an art gallery rather than a fashion show, but as Brittany said, it's refreshing to see that the fashion scene in Minneapolis is alive and kicking. Can't wait for more fashion week events coming up next week!
