American Hi-Fi tee  |  Skirt c/o Windsor (similar, under $50!)  |  Vans sneakers  |  Target handbag (similar—every cuter, actually—under $40!)  |  Quay Australia sunglasses  |  Bracelet cuff c/o Windsor  |  Forever 21 rings

I posted the first photo in this post on Instagram back in September as my #ootd shot during Milan Fashion Week, which my friend Bobby then commented on and called the stance my Peter Pan pose. For a girl who's 25 and still hasn't figured out how to be an adult...I'd say that's a pretty accurate description.

And may all your favorite bands stay together.

Dress c/o Windsor  |  Bag c/o Furla  |  Ray-Ban sunglasses  |  TrueXGold "Bexley" necklace, use code TRUELANE for free shipping

I'll start by saying that this dress took a lot of confidence to wear. It also took a lot of skillful footwork to maneuver in without stepping on the hem. However, it ended up being one of my favorite looks. Between the bold, red bag providing contrast to the soft floral pattern and the sporty white sneakers, I found a way to incorporate this dress into a very "truelane" outfit, even if it's never to be worn again.

I had two favorite events that we attended in Milan, and one of them was easily the Furla Spring/Summer 2017 presentation. Furla was a new-to-me brand within the last year, but I fell in love with their classic-with-a-fun-twist styles as soon as I started shopping.

One of the craziest parts of fashion month was finding all of the venues—unless you're being sponsored by the brand and sent to the event in a private car, it's up to you to get there. Alex and I spent a lot of time wandering around to get to where we were going following signs in different languages, and the Furla venue ended up being in a picturesque little neighborhood that was the one thing we had been looking for in all of Milan—quiet. I miss the constant adventure so much.
