I love anything whimsical and quirky, so I knew this bracelet was going to be mine the moment I saw it! I've been piling on the heavy metal recently, so this delicate little chain is a nice change. Now, you may think I'm crazy for being outside on a 15-degree day without a coat, so let me share our process for shooting photos in the winter. My sister and I both work downtown, so I meet Caitlin for lunch and we shoot photos literally right outside the door before running back inside. We're done in like four minutes! I found this sweater in my room at home and have been wearing it by the fireplace trying to keep warm in this big, cold house! Sorry for the lack of quality photos today. My time at home is winding down and I'm trying to squeeze as much time as possible in with my family. I feel so very nostalgic about 2012 ending, but I can't remember the last time I was this excited to start a new year. I hope everyone has a beautiful New Year's Eve!

I usually end up wearing pretty much the same outfit every day that I'm home (packing light and all), so my little sister Elyse was nice enough to share her wardrobe with me today. We had so much fun stopping by local stores and a coffee shop for an afternoon tea latte! I'm finally over my illness, thanks to endless cups of lemon tea and hours of rest. And now I can look forward to the new year and all the changes coming up in 2013! Can't wwwaaaaiitttt.
