I've never owned a pair of Sperry boat shoes, but I've always secretly wanted a pair since I saw them on my favorite beauty gal, Ingrid Nilsen. Recently, I got the chance to design my own with Sperry's customization feature on their website. I went back and forth between some color-blocking options, warm browns, or all-black, but I finally settled on a soft grey color with light laces and camel soles. It's been fun adding a nautical touch to my typically casual, edgy looks. They're just too comfortable to avoid when I'm running out the door. I have a feeling my new Sperrys will be making their way into plenty of different looks for many seasons to come.
