Most mornings, I roll out of bed and into a black sweater and black denim. It's my standard. I don't have to think about it. But back in October when my blogging gal pal Lindsey's birthday rolled around (tea time for young royals, still giggling over the inside joke), I decided to try a little harder. A top fit for an overdressed table and a printed trench coat with dainty flats was about as far out of my comfort zone as I could go for a weekend tea party.
